Having been touched by Autism in our personal lives, we feel strongly about Autism research. Currently 1 in 110 children are diagnosed with Autism or Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). Of those 1 in 70 are boys. 

These are exceptional children whose view of the world is very unique. They respond to sensory input in many different ways. Early intervention therapies combining different sensory input is critical to their growth and success.

This is where the research comes into play. Although a lot more is known about Autism now, there is still a long way to go in finding the cause. There is no "fix" for children and adults with Autism. But there is ongoing research that helps us to understand their world and how we can make it better for them so they can live successfully in society.
